I have a little info on the view at Heathrow Central Bus Station. The two nearest BEA vehicles are NLP648 & NLL714. The first Routemaster behind them is RM1212. On the left, the first & third coaches are operated by Banfield, whilst the coach just in view along the same row is a Samuelsons. Unfortunately I have no record of the registrations. The location of this Birch Brothers photo is a mystery to me. 47AUW is an AEC Reliance with Willowbrook Viscount C41F body. The vehicle, which was new in 1960, is classed as a Motorway Express Coach. Alexander (Fife) FAC14 [AXA214A] is an AEC Reliance 2MU3RV with Alexander C41F body built in 1963 Also at Kirkcaldy depot are, on the left, Alexander (Fife) FE2 [FWG837] a Bristol LS6G with ECW B45F, new in 1955. On the right is FPD195 [OMS271] a 1960 Leyland Tiger Cub PSUC1/2 with Alexander C41F body. On the forecourt of Kirkcaldy Esplanade depot is Alexander (Fife) FG50 [AMS580], a Guy Arab III with Brockhouse C35F body. This was new in 1948. The three parts of Alexanders each developed their own livery after the split in 1961. The livery choice of Fife was red and cream. This photo shows Alexander (Midland) MNV1 [EMS89C] on tour in Southport. It is an Albion Viking VK43L with Alexander C34F body and was new in 1965. I believe this photo of Alexander (Midland) MPA147 [CWG29] to be taken at Oban. It is a Leyland Tiger PS1 with Alexander C35F and dates from 1950. Midland chose a blue and cream scheme and the Midland Bluebird name was born. I am told that this photo could be taken at Killermont Street Bus Station. On the right, showing depot code M, is MRB174 [KWG635], a Leyland Titan PD3/3 with Alexander L35/32R body. It dates from 1958. On the left is MRA55 [BWG100] a Leyland Titan PD1 with Alexander L27/26R that is 10 years older. Here we see a line up of Alexander (Midland) vehicles at Stirling depot. From left to right are MRB249 [RMS681] a Leyland Titan PD3/3C which was rebuilt in 1961 from a Leyland Tiger chassis and fitted with an Alexander L35/32R body ; MRD106 [OMS209] a Bristol Lodekka LD6G with ECW H33/27R body, new in 1960 ; MRC 3 / 9 [CWG866/72] a pair of AEC Regent III’s with Alexander L27/26R body, new in 1951 This photo was taken at the same site as A03 earlier and is of Central SMT L407 [DVD265], a Leyland Titan PD2 with Leyland L27/26R body. Another Alexander (Fife) vehicle at Kirkcaldy depot is FPA29 [AWG704], a Leyland Tiger PS1 with Alexander C35F body. This vehicle dates from 1947. Showing Midland Bluebird fleetnames is Alexander (Midland) HWG536E, a Duple bodied Bedford on tour in Southport Awaiting the arrival of the ferry at Oban is MacBraynes 176 [SGE428], a 1957 Bedford SBG with Duple C41F body Alongside Oban Railway Station is MacBraynes 27 [KGG709], an AEC Regal III with Duple FC35F body. The vehicle was new in 1952 By 2 July 1966, when this photo was taken, Western SMT 1748 had been transferred to Fife Scottish at Kirkaldy. UCS612 is an Albion Lowlander LR1 with Alexander H39/32F and was new in 1963.

It is one of seven Leyland Tiger Cub PSUC1/1 with Roe B41D body in the Lincoln fleet. It was new in 1958. is a Bristol Lodekka LD6G with ECW H33/27R that was new in 1957 On the left is Eastern Counties LC577 In the centre is an Eastern National vehicle and at the end is a Barton coach

The two vehicles in view belong to Crowe Brothers, Osmotherly, which is on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors south of Tees side down the A19. They ran a daily service from there to Stockton via Yarm This is operating on Hall Brothers of South Shields Ten Cities Express This was new to Eastern National as its 455 in 1958. It is a Bristol SC4LK / ECW B35F. A Leyland Leopard L2 with Plaxton C43F bodywork that was new in 1963. This vehicle passed to United Automibles as W5 in February 1967 26 February 1967 was the date that United acquired the business of Wilkinsons. Several vehicles transferred to the new owner. 3565UP became United W6 Another Leyland Leopard L

Amongst the last Leyland bodied buses to be built were Stockton 2 – 8 [OUP751-757] on Leyland Titan PD2/12 chassis. Seen on service O (jointly operated with Middlesborough Corporation) and known locally as the “Drag”, is 2 [OUP751]. It is shown here in original livery, passing Stockton Parish Church 3 [OUP752] arriving on Stockton High Street after a duty as a service 7 duplicate from Thornaby (28th May 1966]. Seating layout for these vehicles is H32/26R 4 [OUP753] is seen on the last day of operation of service 6 to Thornaby – 31st May 1965 Seen on Stockton High Street on a special working is 6 [OUP755] On the Wednesday and Saturday only service 15 is 7 [OUP756]. It was photographed at the Albany Road Estate terminus on 21st May 1966 The final vehicle of the batch, 8 [OUP757], is seen on service O in Stockton High Street. In 1964, Stockton acquired this AEC Regal IV with Willowbrook B42F bodywork from City of Oxford Motor Services. It was numbered 10 [SFC730] and is seen here at the Transporter, on service 1, in December 1964. During the 12 years it had operated in Oxford, it was generally used on express services Seen at the Trading Estate terminus of service 1A, is 10 [SFC730]. This photo is dated January 1966 At the time these photos were taken, 1965/6, most of the batch of vehicles 14-25 were relegated to special, duplicate or works duties. They are Leyland Titan PD2/3 with Weymann H30/26R bodies and were built in 1949. In its original livery, 15 [LPT193] is seen operating service 5, at one time one of the usual haunts of these vehicles Later, two of the three cream bands were removed. 20 [LPT198] is seen operating on route 2 during 1966 On 25th May 1966, 23 [LPT201] is noted working on services 3/7/7A, which is operated a one service. It is seen at Roseworth Terminus, where it has changed from service 3 to service 7 There are now two shots of 24 to show some of the minor differences that occurred since its delivery. This one shows its original condition By May 1966 certain windows have been rubber mounted, there are different headlamps, the cab door window is slightly different and the livery has altered Seen in Yarm Road, heading for Roseworth, is 25 [LPT203]. It is on services 3/7/7A on 25th May 1966 26 [MPT858] is an integral Leyland Olympic / MCW which was new in 1951. It originally had a front entrance and rear exit, but was rebuilt to B41F layout in 1961. In this photo, dated 12th February 1966, it is seen at the Transporter terminus during the first week of operation of service 18 (Transporter – Billingham, Low Grange) This view of 26 is at Gloucester Terrace, Billingham and the date is 1st May 1966 Another view of 26 at Gloucester Terrace. Built in 1955, 27 [RUP301] is a Leyland Titan PD2/12 with Weymann H32/28R bodywork. It is seen on Stockton High Street on service O 28 [RUP302] on Norton Road on service 2. Note the differences between this and 27 earlier – slightly different livery and the fleet and registration numbers are in different positions Outside Bridge Road depot From the batch 29-35, 29 [RUP303] is seen on Stockton High Street waiting to pull onto the service 14 stand to depart on the service to High Leven. These have a Leyland Titan PD2/12 chassis with Northern Counties H33/28R bodywork and were built in 1955 On Stockton High Street can be seen 32 [RUP306] 1958 saw a further four Titans were delivered, but this time with chassis designation PD2/40. A noticeable difference with these Northern Counties vehicles (which were H35/28R configuration) is the presence of opening windows in the front top deck. 37 [XUP476] is seen on Norton High Street operating service O. From the 1960 batch is 40 [759HPT]. This bus had the distinction of being decorated for several weeks each Christmas. Here it is seen in April 1964 on service 11 to Middlesborough, via Acklam. One interesting design feature of the Orion was the fact that the upper windows were smaller than the lower windows giving the vehicle a rather unbalanced look 55 [KPT760] being refuelled at Bridge Road in July 1965 This photo of 56 [KPT761] shows the new position of the fleetname compared with that on 66 58 [KPT763] is seen in its 1965 condition at the vehicle compound near the former Bridge Road depot. Modifications included rubber mounted windows and a single cream band on the livery 59 [KPT764] returning light to Bridge Road depot 65 [KPT770] is seen on Stockton High Street in 1962. The Town Centre / High Street area was always referred to as Stockton Town Hall on blinds and publicity. In 1949 a batch of Massey H33/26R bodied Titan PD2/3’s were placed in service, but by the time these photos were taken, some had been withdrawn. Seen in its original condition is 66 [KPT771] Inside Bridge Road depot 71 [XUP471] leaves Bridge Street depot after overhaul in April 1965 New in 1958 was this Leyland Titan PD2/40 with Park Royal H35/28R body 73 [XUP473]. It is seen on Stockton High Street on service 3 to Hartburn. In 1958, the first of a large number of Leyland Titans with MCW Orion H35/28R bodies arrived. From the first batch (chassis designation PD2/40), 78 [204BPT] is seen outside Stockton Town Hall on the last day of the old 6 service to Norton, Blue Hall (31st May 1965) Seen on Stockton High Street is 79 [205BPT] , a Leyland Titan PD2/40 with MCW Orion H35/28R body Stockton 81[207BPT] is seen at the old Thornaby RAF Station operating a works service to Billingham. At Roseworth terminus 82 [208BPT] reversing at the Roseworth terminus of service 8 on 21st May 1966 At Roseworth terminus Stockton High Street Stockton High Street From the second batch, delivered in 1959, is 89 [281DUP]. This photo was taken on 27th May 1966, a few days after overhaul. This batch (84-91) is noteworthy in that they were the first vehicles delivered new to Stockton with only one cream relief band Outside Bridge Road depot On Stockton High Street

This is a 1965 Leyland Leopard L2 with Plaxton Panorama C43F bodywork Lancashire United 139 [4612TF] is seen in Southport. It is a Daimler Fleetline CRG6LX with Northern Counties H43/31F and dates from 1963 Guy Arabs were a feature of the Lancashire United fleet in the 60's. Here, seen at Southport, is 162 (KTC794C) an Arab V example with Northern Counties H41/32F body. The vehicle was new in 1965 Pleasureland, Southport is the setting for this view of 203 (LTE268D), a 1965 Lancashire United Leyland Leopard L2 with Plaxton Panorama C43F body. Still in Southport, obviously my home town many years ago, is Lancashire United 204 (LTB301C), a Leyland Leopard PSU3/1 with Marshall B50F body dating from Another Guy Arab V of Lancashire United is 163 [KTC795C], seen in Liverpool. It has Northern Counties H41/32F bodywork and was new in 1965 153 [DTF583B] is a Leyland PSU3/1 with Plaxton DP49F body. It was new in 1964 1965 saw a further 5 Daimler CRG6LX with Northern Counties H43/33F body delivered. Seen here is 183 [PTE633C]. This survived until 1978 In 1967 Lancashire United bought the first of a number of Bristol vehicles for the fleet. 249 [CTE475E] is a Bristol RESL6G with Plaxton B42D bodywork Also in view is Darwen 28 Although owned by South Lancashire Transport, 577 [YTD878] carried Lancashire United fleetnames and numbers. It was new in 1950 and passed to Rossendale as its 11 in 1968 New in 1953, 9 [OTF164] is another Leyland chassis & body combination Also new in 1953 was Haslingden 11 [PTF208]. This too is a Leyland PD2/12 with Leyland H30/26R body In 1968 this vehicle became 42 inn the Rossendale fleet. Here we see it as Haslingden 12 [VTJ90] which is a Leyland PD2/12 with East Lancs H31/28R body. It was new in 1955 This vehicle was new in 1950 to Ramsbottom UDC as its 27. It passed to Haslingden in 1962 and then on to Rossendale in 1968 (but withdrawn). This is a 1959 Guy Arab iv with East Lancs H32/26R body 154/5 [949/50RTB] were a pair of Leyland PD2/31 vehicles with East Lancashire H35/26R bodies 160 [914TF] was a lone PD3A/1 with East Lancs H38/32R body. It was new in 1963 and passed to the Hyndburn operation eleven years later 162 [9690TJ] is seen on Accrington Bus Station in May 1967 when four years old. It is a Leyland PD3A/2 with East Lancs H 38/32R body 164 [CTB558B] is a 1964 Guy Arab V with East Lancs H38/32R body The first forward entrance double deckers arrived in 1967. Seen when new, 168 [CTB168E] is a Leyland PD3A/2 with East Lancs H41/31F body. This batch of four vehicles were converted for one man operation in 1972 another of the 1967 batch 169 [CTB169E] seen on Accrington Bus Station The first Atlantean had appeared in the Accrington fleet in 1969. 174 [CTC174J] is one of 7 purchased in two batches during 1971. It is a Leyland Atlantean PDR1A/1 with East Lancs H45/33F body

It is seen on the Southport - Blackpool Ribble Enthusiasts Rally Bury Corporation 132 (AEN832C) in Southport. This vehicle, from 1965, is a Daimler Fleetline CRG6LX with East Lancashire H45/31F body Also photographed at Keswick is Cumberland 245 [JAO245D], a 1966 Bristol MW6G with Eastern Coach Works B45F body. On a day excursion to Southport is Cumberland 283 [VAO390], a 1958 Bristol MW6G with Eastern Coach Works C39F body At Pleasureland Coach Park in Southport is Cumberland 300 [FRM618C] a Bedford VAL14 with Duple Vega Major C52F body which was new in 1965 I think this is the now closed Wigton depot of Cumberland for this view of 404 [ORM139]. It is a Bristol Lodekka LD6G with Eastern Coach Works H33/25RD body and it was new in 1954 Liverpool Corporation bought a large batch of Leyland Panthers in 1968/9 and were the first vehicles to move away from the letter and number scheme. 1054 (FKF933G) is a Panther PSUR1a/1 with Metro-Cammell B47D bodywork Liverpool Corporation L735 (CKF735C) is a Leyland Atlantean PDR1/1 with Metro-Cammell H43/35F body Morecambe Corporation 83 (792ATD), a 1957 AEC Regent V with Massey H33/26R body This time showing off the attractive green and cream livery of Morecambe Corporation is 86 (795ATD), another example of the AEC / Massey combination This is one of 10 such vehicles bought by North Western for use under the Dunham Massey bridge near Warrington. Here we see, in Southport, 135 (AJA135B) which is a Bedford VAL with Strachen B52F body dating from 1964 977 (VDB977) is an example of an AEC Renown with Park Royal H42/32F body. It is seen at Northwich Bus Station I must type this in full - Stalybridge, Hyde, Mossley & Dukinfield Joint Transport and Electricity Board - or S.H.M.D for short. 65 (OMB165) is a Daimler CVD6 with Northern Counties H30/28R body dating from 1952 Southport 21 (HFY721) is a 1952 Leyland Titan PD2/12 with Weymann H32/28R body Southport 31 (LFY31) is a Leyland Titan PD2/20 with Weymann Aurora H35/26R body dating from 1956. Note how immaculate the vehicle looks - all the Southport fleet were kept like this - modern day managers take note !! After trials with the Manchester Panther seen earlier, Southport bought 12 such vehicles in 1968. Here we see 60 (HWM60F), a Panther PSUR1A/1R with Metro-Cammell B45D body A Leyland Titan PD2/3 with Leyland CO30/26R in the Southport fleet. This vehicle is 87 (FFY404) and dates from 1947 Southport 116 (GWM116) is one of a pair of Crossley SD42/T's with Crossley B32F body. It is parked at the Monument in the town Seen in Southport is Stockport Corporation 402 (NDB355), a Leyland Tiger Cub PSUC1/1 with Crossley B44F body dating from 1958 10 years newer is Stockport 406 (KDB406F), a Leyland Leopard PSU4/1R with East Lancashire B43D body. It, too, is seen in Southport. Yelloway in Southport summer 1968 Yelloway in 1966 On Pleasureland Coach Park in Southport is Wigan Corporation 72 (DEK4E). This is a Leyland Titan PD2/37 with Northern Counties H37/27F body. Ashton under Lyne 58 (PTF858G) at Ashton Bus Station Birkenhead Corporation 242 (BG8557) at Brighton when in preservation. This vehicle, dating from 1944, is a Guy Arab II 6LW with 1953 Massey H31/28R body Bury Corporation 90 (FEN90E), a Daimler Fleetine CRG6LX with East Lancashire B41D body dating from 1967 A Daimler Fleetline / Northern Counties H41/27D of SHMD. The view is of 46 (ELG46F) Salford Corporation 249 (FRJ249D) a Leyland Titan PD2/40 with Metro-Cammell H36/28F body dating from 1966 Southport Corporation 68 (JWM68F), one of 12 Leyland Panther's with Metro-Cammell B45D bodywork bought in 1968 At Ashton Bus Station is Stockport Corporation Leyland Titan PD2/40 with East Lancashire H36/28R body - fleet number 47 (HJA947E) A line up of Yelloway coaches outside their depot in Rochdale. I believe that all of them are AEC Reliance's with a mixture of Plaxton Panorama and Harrington Cavalier bodies

Bought with the Robin Hood business in 1961 was Barton 935 [149FVO], a Bedford C5Z1 with Duple C29F body. Note the lower destination display saying ‘parcels carried’. The photo was taken in Blackpool Taken at Sheffield Bus Station (or Interchange in today’s lingo) is Chesterfield Corporation 232 [232LRB] a Leyland Titan PD2/30 with Weymann H61RD body. The vehicle was new in 1960 The locations of many of my early photos are a mystery to me as I kept few records of those that I took. This one is no exception. It shows a pair of Leicester Corporation vehicles, perhaps on a private hire - 198 [198GJF] & 212 [SJF212] 198, on the left, is an AEC Reliance 4MU3RA with Marshall B54F body dating from 1963. On the right is 212, one of five Leyland Tiger Cub PSUC1/1’s with Weymann B44F that would usually be found on the inner circle route. This vehicle dates from 1957 Even today you see unusual place names on destination displays. Here, showing service H14 from Hereford Bus Station to Bobblestock, is Midland Red 4586 [586AHA], a 1957 BMMO S14 with BMMO B43F body The ‘C5’ class of coaches were used on local express routes (C5 & CS5) and motorway services (CM5 & CM5T). In the parking area outside Birmingham’s Digbeth Coach Station is Midland Red 4793 [793GHA]. This is a BMMO C5 with BMMO C37F coachwork and was new in 1959 The BMMO D9 began production in 1960, though Midland Red 5028 [3028HA] is of 1963 vintage. It has BMMO built H40/32RD bodywork and is seen in Shrewsbury on local service S19 to Lythwood Hall Midland Red 5804 [CHA104C] is a Leyland Leopard PSU3/4R with Duple Vega C49F coachwork and was new in 1965. The location is, once again, Southport The three views of City of Oxford vehicles were taken at Gloucester Green Bus Station in the City – hardly recognisable today. 318 [318NJO] is an AEC Bridgemaster / PRV 2B3RA with integral Park Royal LD65F body dating from 1962 Bridgemaster / PRV 2B3RA with integral Park Royal LD65F body dating from 1962 Street lights can play havoc with photo’s sometimes (unless it was a test bed for one of the vehicle tracking systems now in place – but why the coat hooks on the side !!!) PMT S4570 [TVT570] is seen on Crewe Bus Station. It is an AEC Reliance with Weymann B44F body dating from 1954 Stratford Blue 35 [JUE351] is a Leyland PS2/3 with Northern Counties H35/28F (1963) bodywork. It was new in 1950 as a single-decker with Willowbrook DP34F body. It is seen at the depot in the centre of Stratford Birmingham Corporation 2428 [JOJ428] is a Crossley DD42/7 and Crossley H30/24R bodywork. It was new in 1950 The Kettering depot of United Counties sees 289 [WBD289H], a Bristol RELH6G with ECW DP49F body in National Express livery. At Bedford depot of United Counties on 4 April 1969 is 840 [FRP695], a Bristol KSW5G with ECW L55R body which was new in 1951. Acquired from London Transport in 1959 was Walsall 205 [OLD603], a Leyland 7RT with Park Royal H56R body York Brothers at Blackpool in March 1969 On a day excursion are Walsall Corporation 808 [PDH808] & 810 [PDH810], both Leyland Tiger Cub PSU1’s with Park Royal bodies (810 is B42F, 808 is C40F). Both date from 1953 and are seen at Southport in 1967. Opposite the Railway Station at Stafford are Walsall Corporation 818 [RDH508] & Midland Red 4769 [769BHA]. The Walsall vehicle is a Leyland PD2/12 with Roe H71F body dating from 1953. The Midland Red vehicle is a BMMO D7 with Metro-Cammell H37/26RD body new in 1957. City of Oxford Bristol VR (OFC901H)

At Southport is Sheffield United Tours 300 [6300WE], one of a batch of 12 1959 AEC Reliance MU3RV's with Plaxton C41F coachwork Wallace Arnold EUG896D Doncaster Corporation 194 [194NDT] is a 1963 Leyland Titan PD3/4 with Roe H40/32F seen at Sheffield Not obvious in this black & white photo is the Halifax Corporation and Joint Committee livery of light green, orange and cream. The fleet was divided into two series the “A” fleet (under 200) which was owned by the Corporation and ran services within the borough boundary and the “B” fleet, jointly owned by the Corporation and British Rail, that ran services within a specified outer suburban area. Seen on a day excursion to Southport is 250 [RJX250] an Albion Nimbus with Weymann DP31F body. The vehicle was new in 1963 The dark red livery of Hanson was always immaculate. 394 [ECX112C], a 1965 Ford Thames Trader with Plaxton Panorama C37F body is seen at Southport Hanson 401 [KVH244E], a Ford / Duple combination, is seen at Southport Dating from 1973 Hebble YWE497M is a Bedford YRT with Duple Dominant C53F body. It is seen loading passengers near Pleasureland in Southport. Hebble stemmed from the coaching interests of Yorkshire Woollen District and their base was in Liversedge. Here YWE511M, a 1974 Leyland Leopard PSU3B/4R with Plaxton Supreme C47F body is on an excursion to Southport Rotherham 138 [VET138] is an AEC Bridgemaster 2B3RA with Park Royal H43/27F body, new in 1960. It is seen in Sheffield Sheffield Corporation 1022 [TWE122F] is an AEC Swift 2P2R with Park Royal B51F which was new in 1968 (as 42) and then South Yorkshire Transport 42 in 1974 West Riding in Southport summer 1966 West Riding in Southport summer 1968 Parked inside Skipton depot is West Yorkshire SMG47 [RWW972], a Bristol LS5G with ECW B45F body dating from 1956 At Victoria Coach Station in London on 13 April 1968 is Yorkshire Traction 13 [FHE332D]. This is a Leyland Leopard PSU3/3R with Plaxton Panorama C49F body and was new in 1966 A smart looking Leyland Leopard PSU3/4R with Weymann B51F body owned by Yorkshire Traction. 1325 [FHE325D] was new in 1966 and was later renumbered to 371. It is seen in Southport in August 1968. Note the destination display on the three track blind EXC URS ESS – not quite right, I think. A trio of Yorkshire Traction coaches in Southport during the summer of 1968. From right to left are 16 [JHE616E], 4 [CHE303C] and 15 [JHE615E]. 15 and 16 are Leyland Leopard PSU3/4R’s with Plaxton Panorama C49F bodies and date from 1967. 4 [CHE303C) is a Leyland Leopard PSU3/3RT with Plaxton Panorama C49F that was new in 1965 as fleet number 1303. Yorkshire Traction 641 [NHE41F] at Sheffield Bus Station on 5 September 1968. It is a Daimler Fleetline CRG6LXB with Northern Counties H44/31F body and was new in 1968 Wallace Arnold Bedford VAL at Southport (in front of the Gores Tours office) in 1968 Another East Yorkshire at Hull A Beverley Bar bodied East Yorkshire vehicle The final few pictures were probably best left off the collection as the quality is pretty poor - despite trying to enhance them using my various photography disks. This one is of an East Yorkshire AEC Renown in Hull Halifax Joint Omnibus Committee 303 [FCP303E] is a 1967 Dennis Loline with Northern Counties H41/33F body It would seem that this vehicle is Leyland Atlantean demonstrator KTD551C. It is of type PDR1/1 and has Park Royal H41/33F bodywork This is actually a publicity photo issued by the Company. It shows 336 [336DWJ], a 1962 AEC Reliance 2U3RA with Plaxton C44F body. This vehicle was exhibited at the 1962 Commercial Motor Show

What he came across was totally unexpected. There were four loose-leaf files containing a vast amount of photos and fleet information for Scout, Standerwick, Bamber Bridge Motor Services, Preston Corporation, Ribble and Crosville. For Preston and Crosville there were also bus tickets in the respective files. All the fleet details had been hand written and, in respect of the Ribble group vehicles, information stating which this person had driven or worked on. This led us to believe that he may have been an employee of the Company. However, there was no name of the person that had built this collection anywhere throughout the folders. The photographs and tickets had been glued onto lined paper, which leads us to believe that they are all bought and not taken by this person. None show any details of who took the photos or when they were taken. I have scanned all the photos and now have them on disc. I will put a few on my site so that you can view them and, perhaps, shed some light on this mysterious person. By doing this, I hope that I am not breaking any copyright rules because, as mentioned earlier, the photos have no names of the photographers placed on them (front or back). They will be put on my site as The ………. File (with the corresponding operator filling the gap). There are 9 Bamber Bridge, 36 Crosville, 53 Preston, 40 Scout, 22 Standerwick and about 200 Ribble (I have not yet finished editing them yet) photos. Once again, the location of this photo is not known. Ribble 1025 [PCK607} is a Leyland Leopard with Harrington Cavalier C32F bodywork. New in 1961, it was one of a large batch of similar vehicles used on Ribble's extensive and very popular extended tours programme. On delivery in 1969 at Formby is Bristol RELL / ECW dual door 252 (HRN252G) 280 (KHN729D) is a Bristol MW / ECW taken over by Ribble when they bought the vehicles and operations of United Automobiles in Carlisle The first of four 1966 Leyland Leopard PSU4/2R with Marshall B44F dating from 1966. This vehicle, 631 (CRN631D) is seen working the X43 service in Skipton Bus Station 651 (CRN651D) is seen outside Windermere Railway Station
