Also at Kirkcaldy depot are, on the left, Alexander (Fife) FE2 [FWG837] a Bristol LS6G with ECW B45F, new in 1955. On the right is FPD195 [OMS271] a 1960 Leyland Tiger Cub PSUC1/2 with Alexander C41F body.

On the forecourt of Kirkcaldy Esplanade depot is Alexander (Fife) FG50 [AMS580], a Guy Arab III with Brockhouse C35F body. This was new in 1948. The three parts of Alexanders each developed their own livery after the split in 1961. The livery choice of Fife was red and cream.

I believe this photo of Alexander (Midland) MPA147 [CWG29] to be taken at Oban. It is a Leyland Tiger PS1 with Alexander C35F and dates from 1950. Midland chose a blue and cream scheme and the Midland Bluebird name was born.

I am told that this photo could be taken at Killermont Street Bus Station. On the right, showing depot code M, is MRB174 [KWG635], a Leyland Titan PD3/3 with Alexander L35/32R body. It dates from 1958. On the left is MRA55 [BWG100] a Leyland Titan PD1 with Alexander L27/26R that is 10 years older.

From left to right are MRB249 [RMS681] a Leyland Titan PD3/3C which was rebuilt in 1961 from a Leyland Tiger chassis and fitted 	with an Alexander L35/32R body ; MRD106 [OMS209] a Bristol Lodekka LD6G with ECW H33/27R body, new in 1960 ; MRC 3 / 9 [CWG866/72] a pair of AEC Regent III’s with Alexander L27/26R body, new in 1951
